Dear Clients Carriers are once again advertising rate increases, this next round is intended to be applied from the 15th NOV. It may well be the last of the year, pending demand over DECEMBER 2023. It will once again impact freight rates, for cargo originating in CHINA, HONG KONG, TAIWAN, KOREA into all Australian Ports. With the potential for S.E.Asia rates to continue increasing a possibility pending seasonal volume increases. Below is a list of the GRI increases either announced or applied to date. 1st AUG - USD150 per 20' / USD300 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM 15th AUG - USD150 per 20' / USD300 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM 1st SEPT - USD150 per 20' / USD300 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM 15th SEPT - USD150 per 20' / USD300 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM 15th OCT - USD150 per 20' / USD300 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM 1st NOV - USD100 per 20' / USD200 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM 15th NOV - USD100 per 20' / USD200 per 40' + LCL @ USD10 per WM As always, Transways will only be adjusting your pricing should the carriers apply the increases.
